1 / You Can Go Your Own Way, By Eric Smith
This description doesnt accurately decribe this book. Yeah, this is what the books about but their are so many hidden yet obvious meanings in this book that was life changing for me! Definietly give it a try. In "You Can Go Your Own Way," we meet Adam, the owner of his late father's pinball arcade, and Whitney, who manages the social media for her dad's e-sports cafes. Despite their history as former friends, they're now engaged in a heated social media feud, constantly exchanging barbs online. However, when a massive snowstorm unexpectedly hits, Adam and Whitney are unexpectedly confined within the arcade's walls. This unexpected forced proximity sets the stage for potential reconciliation between the two adversaries.
2 / The Queens Gambit, By Walter Tevis
This is one of those books you just occasionally re-read. Tevis's 'The Queen's Gambit' follows Beth Harmon, a chess prodigy whose talent blossoms amidst a challenging upbringing. Raised in an orphanage, Beth's innate understanding of chess propels her from novice to international competitor. However, her journey is fraught with personal struggles, including addiction and self-doubt. Through vividly depicted matches and introspective moments, Tevis portrays Beth's unwavering determination and unorthodox approach to the game.
3/ A Good Girl's Guide To Murder, By Holly Jackson
This has an entire series to go with it, but its just so crazy! The plot twists, the climax the force of the characters, all of it! It was just so unexpected. I stayed up till 3A.M reading this!
